Lessons Learned: So I have been a Dad around a year, ergo there are a lot
It’s been around a year since I have been a Dad. I have failed a lot. I have prayed a lot. I have learned a lot. Three things I’ve learned in particular:
1. I will never regret getting to work at 7, working through lunch, busting it the whole day, and knowing I will have to work late at home after she goes to bed so I can be with her a few minutes and hold her in my arms while she points around the room with utterances of “dog”, “dottle”, and “dada” before she goes to bed.
2. I will not take for granted that I have a child because I remember what it was like to be in want and to lose what your heart desired.
3. I will cherish the Grace that Providence bestowed on me as long as I have breath.

Love this
Thanks. See, sometimes I do feel a bit of emotion contrary to popular belief.
