How to be an iPhoneographer: 645 Pro Copyright and License Settings
645 Pro was recently updated and one of the more useful enhancements to the iPhoneography community is the Copyright and License Settings. For certain iPhoneographers the copyrighting and licensing of images receives little to no consideration while for other iPhoneographers the protection of their images is paramount.
Copyright and license information is embedded in EXIF data associated to the image. 645 Pro gives you a number of options related to the nature of the copyright and license information of your images. While I will leave the legal usefulness/necessity of such to your local iPhoneography lawyer, I did want to provide a quick how to guide on utilizing this 645 Pro Functionality. I was running around inside the 645 Pro App itself attempting to understand how to turn on the copyright and license information. Turns out it is not located inside the app at all.
To turn on the 645 Pro copyright and license EXIF data you do the following:

I’ve set my copyright and license settings with my name and all rights reserved, but is not shown in my pictures. Is this new feature supposed to put my signature in my pictures or not?
I just need to know if I’m doing something wrong.
Diego – What the copyright an license settings are embedded in the EXIF data. Wiki has a pretty good summary of how this works here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_image_file_format.
