1. Second photo while experimenting with depth of field (here is the first)
2. Nikon V1
3. Snapseed for the pizazz
Hey Paul – Is your V1 wirelessly tethered to your iphone? Are you using an eye-fi card or something else to transfer the images over to be edited with snapseed? Just curious.
Hey Moose. Sorry for the delay in responding. Been a busy couple of days. I use an adapter to quickly upload photos taken with my Nikon to my iPad. Here is how I do it: http://paulcahill.net/2013/01/05/keeping-photography-mobile-how-to-move-your-images-to-your-mac-editing-platform/.
Also, I often move the photos into Dropbox from there for editing on my MacBook.
Nifty! Great tutorial…I hadn’t thought of bringing the images in this way. I’ve been using an eye-fi card, but there’s a bit of lag in the transferring process because those bits are traveling through mid-air rather than through a hard wired cable/adapter.
It works pretty well and is pretty quick. Plus, you can do it anywhere: train, car, plane, etc.
